Having painted a load more insurgents and assorted baddies, plus some vehicles, I'd opt for 28mm for preference.

Right, 28mm it is. I will be adding more Bongolese. There are some good deals on vehicles on ebay atm.

haha luckily we'll all be a little bit close for that to be anything more than a target...although it might make a good objective!
I picked up a Corgi M48 for the Escudans a couple of years ago and my Rhodie cavalry haven't been used in anger yet either!
I even got a Huey and a Cessna Lynx for the Rhodies :D

That would make a lovely objective for some black ops work.

That spare tyre looks a bit dodgy - best get Peeler to check it with his little tool.

I'm not keen on all the layer lines that show on the horizontal flat areas on those FDM prints :(

Paint it with woodglue and then prime and paint. The woodglue dries, still leaving the detail, but largely hiding the striations. Did it work all my Star Wars buildings that were FDM printed

That's a nice idea as it's self levelling so wouldn't require sanding like filler would.

I used Gorilla Woodglue. It’s thicker and dries quicker than the cheaper ones
