Did EB reveal how he got rid of all the frozen lettuce?
Any wargame with Bavarians in it has to be good!

What an excellent weekend. Thanks to everyone for the good company and laughs, and big kudos to EB for all the effort and prep in getting everything ready. The game was challenging and entertaining and the figures and table were all of a very high standard.
I'd definitely be up for a return to the mountains and deserts of Essex!
And you will be very welcome.

Miniatures are beautiful, I caved and sent an email to John...
Good man. Check out Irregular Miniatures and Lancer Miniatures for useful bits and bobs. I happily combine units of big floppy hatted League of Augsburg types with tricorned WSS units.

Managed to get out of the Grays hot zone this morning and reached the waiting Blackhawk at the LZ. We took some small arms fire from the roof of the burnt out Sainsbury's building, but no casualties. Safely returned to the Suffolk Green Zone later in the am.
An excellent weekend, in good company, but with the Ayton Stalwarts that comes as no surprise. Iain worked bloody hard to provide a super venue for the game, and was the perfect host. Nothing was neglected, good food and a superb pub that won my affections. I want the Theobald to adopt me as a long distance regular. Thank you Iain for a magnificent effort, and thanks to Gary, Dave, Andy and Simon for a hard fought but convivial game, you are gentlemen all.
In years to come I will be proud to say, I was at the first ShedCon (Grays), and I have the scars to prove it.

We should design campaign ribbons for these events. The stories we could tell as we pointed each one out.
"That one son? That was Ayton 2013, I was there when Purps charged his cavalry into the muzzles of two grand batteries. It weren't a pretty sight."

Most impressive. A coat rack, proper lighting
and a crotch protection board!
Although it’s the white board I’m most envious of.
