Good find, that set looks quite good value even at £25 let alone £15!Buff Orpington wrote: ↑Tue Apr 03, 2018 5:18 pm Rather surprised that I just picked up the FoW El Alamein starter set on Ebay for £15, Pz III, Pz IV, a Grant & 2 Crusaders. No other bidders, I knew Fourth Edition wasn't setting the world alight but I expected competition.

I can't have bought the same Zvesda as the rest of you, got a Firefly a few months ago and it was awful! Sticking with 1/72. Although I do have the FoW v4 starter set, it was only about £28 in the shop. Lovely models! Might stick with 15s for Western desert.

The hard copy and tokens arrived today. There was real thought put into the tokens, the Memsahib looked at them and said, "Some of those look like buttons". Can't argue with her but I pointed out that these were laser cut acrylic buttons.

Mine came today, slightly disappointed not to get cardboard dashboards. I thought I ordered the whole bundle. Just got a book and some buttons and sprue cut offs :-/ the rules do look good though. Hopefully give them a good thumbing this week.
Re: What a Tanker thread
Book, tokens and tool was the full bundle....what's this about sprues?
Re: What a Tanker thread
Yes buttons for buttoned down - clever. Many of the tokens are the same as issued with the IABSM 3 bundle so I now have enough for many tanks!Buff Orpington wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 5:50 pm The hard copy and tokens arrived today.
