that got a a bit scrambled
Re: Post Ayton projects
Eggsactly what I was thinking
Re: Post Ayton projects
I have a lot of ECW awaiting paint. Purps, I think this should be the Ayton ‘20 plan
Re: Post Ayton projects
I thought that at one stage and used 6mm, eventually gave it up. I think platoon level is where I’d aim at

Re: Post Ayton projects
i've got the mud and blood rules which are for c. 30 - 120 figures (from memory). So whatever i did would be based around this. Of course i'd then have to choose the theatre. 1914, Verdun or Eastern Front or near east - so many choices!
Re: Post Ayton projects
Oh... fair enough. Didn’t realize it was one on, one off.
Re: Post Ayton projects
They are good. There’s also WW1 CoC. I’m traditional and boring, I’d do early War Western Front.goat major wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 1:40 pm i've got the mud and blood rules which are for c. 30 - 120 figures (from memory). Re: Post Ayton projects
Mud and blood?
I would go ITLSU for the middle east. Also you get to fight campaigns with email messages saying Ï am going to advance on Damascus and then go on to Alleppo, signed Allah'n'bey. What's not to like?

John struggles to keep up with demand and he's not the best at communicating stuff. Drop him another e-mail and ask for an update.Purple wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 1:08 pm Well my next big thing was going to be the 20mm WSS inspired by our own Count and Essex, I did put an order in but I think the guy forgot about me so will try again after Ayton.
I’ll be continuing the SYW Russian and Austrian project as usual. I was going to start 28mm ECW but actually, it’s all these ‘side projects’ which stall you from getting anywhere, so I’m going to hold off until I have a force big enough to take on my Prussians.
Saying that, I will be doing a couple 1/1200 ships and probably best bring some shiny 19th century Prussians for Goat Shine Olympics.
Things I own;
Foundry Russian Hussar Battalion (Why in gods fuck do I keep buying Hussars!!)
That’s it really. I don’t buy much ahead.
Things I don’t own but omelette this year;
Russian Cossack Cavalry,
Prussian Dragoon Regiment
2x Russian Observation battalions.
More German support options for CoC
Start 20mm Blenheim OOB brigades...
