Still work in progress
I needed dome roofs for my towers, I had a brain wave I will use these.

Very impressive, Willz. You're getting through a lot of work, mate.

Lovely stuff once again (and congratulations to the Baron for yet another fort-based pun).
Apologies for not posting those photos of the Tenerife forts yet. Some silly sod drove his car through the village's broadband exchange-box-thing last weekend, so I've been unable to connect my desktop to the internet since then.

Was it a white, English guy in a BMW? If so, it was probably the same tosser that forced the Baroness off the road near Peterborough a couple of weeks back, admitted to her face it was his fault at the time, but is now denying all responsibility (which means we get stung for our £400 excess, as well as having our car off the road in the run-up to Xmas). Fortunately, he had not only not reported the accident to his insurers, he is now hiding from ours, so I don't think the people who matter are buying his bullshit.[/thread hijack]

It's certainly possible, though far more likely to be a pissed up hambone underage farmer in a tractor... Nobody knows who did it this time. If they did he'd already be in the village Wicker Man...
Anyway, as it happens, the internet has just come back today, but is intermittent. I think I'll knock up a quick blog post with all the pics, but here's the sort of thing that the museum has - lots of models, artefacts and paintings. There's a big diorama model of the whole battle and then lots of small-scale 'close-up' models of all the forts, other key buildings and episodes from the battle.
