I've always thought (but not done it yet) that such small ships could also appear in 28mm battles, to support or attack land positions or fortresses from the sea. When they are far on the sea they look small, yes? so 1/450 ships could look good when seen from the coast by 28mm soldiers ;)

These ships are small, those ships are far away.

Sounds like it could be an ecumenical matter.....

Nice creepy clip - thanks Paul! :)

Iain - I reckon the Langton 1/300 figures would work really well, there are gun crews, officers, etc, all on nice thin bases. Also sailors climbing rigging, sitting in boats, rowing, etc. Separate guns too if you want to pimp the ships a bit more.
