But wouldn't a rebase debase them?

I shall be brie, there is no point in creating and Emmentaler bubble out of this. You can get the basing blues with the Gorgonzola approach or you can engorge yourself on Cheddar. It is hard cheese but Parmesan will give you thinner bases than Double Gloucester.

Thanks chaps. Yes I think 60x50mm for three sounds about right, with possibly the odd individual or two. They looked good on the movement trays and I might just go back to that idea. Will have another look tonight.

True, but then wouldn't you imagine troops with such an incompetent commander would have adopted a more phlegmatic attitude towards life's less lethal encumbrances?
