Cheers gents
Currently taking a break from painting Napoleonics after being finished off by those Cuirassiers- I'm now doing some Italian wars Landsknecht
Because they're so much simpler to paint, being a uniformly drab colour?
Nah because they don't have miles if friggin lace and piping on everything, have no equipment and none of those efffin horrid white straps that seem to hold every Napoleonic infantryman together

Therein lies the only appeal of Biblicals. Find a flesh tone that you can live with, dark hair, loin cloth, pointy stick. Add a wash and the jobs done.

Yeah, but the main historical tract was a bit short of detail. I mean, when Sampson was slaughtering the old Phillistine with the jawbone of a mule, what are the combat factors for a mule's jawbone, what bonuses does Sampson get, how big was the morale factor? The almighty was not much of a rivet counter.

He would be writing his replies in Aramehic to show how well founded they were.

Unlikely given that he's (in)famously monoglot.

Very industrious Kerry and top rate quality. You are such a loss to Northern Hemisphere gaming.

Not sure there was a lot of washing in Biblical times.
