Abstinence is key! Children are not only a drain on the painting and gaming focus, but they completely destroy your ability to fulfill your ‘ooh shiney’ addiction!

Rather go have a cold shower and assemble some Victrix plastic Napoleonics whenever you feel the urge.

The only possible fly in the ointment is that the weekend will clash with the School half term. That's highly unlikely though.

The local authorities seem to have the standard reaction regarding the sausage fest. "Is it popular and successful?" "Let's bugger around with it then.
The memsahib is meeting her coven this very evening discussing what they are going to do for their autumn trip. Once I know the plan I shall commit fully.

If the locals need some sort of entertainment I'm sure that Purps could create a small, sausage themed vignette featuring Fred the Great and his chums.

If we're lucky he will use miniatures to do it.
