Slotta bases ? Why the fuck would anybody have them ?. I never liked Citadel figures anyway, but the moment they started with that shit was the exact moment in time that GW became "another hobby". I'll stick with wargaming thank you.

Ah, yes... the days when you could buy a pound of properly bent bananas with shillings and pence, and slottabases must automatically mean GW.

That was a long time ago, though - most of these came from West Wind, followed by Warzone/Chronopia, some Reaper & Battletech.

Anything slotta, I now put on clear acrylic. It's always fantasy stuff anyway and in sculpting or stamping custom green stuff bases for individual figures is a path to madness.

So because I despise The GW hobby I must be some kind of out-of-touch reactionary ? My circle of gaming friends write and play innovative rules light years ahead of what Rick Priestley and his successors churn out.
