I got a choice today and picked the 8th Army, just built them. Not keen on poses on one foot as it makes fixing them to the base a bit faffy and there are 3 in the one sprue of 6. Nice figures but not as good as their US Airborne. Don't think I'll be splashing out on an army just yet.

No, probably not. Perrys seem small to me. I had them but sold them on. I know they're properly proportioned but I like a chunckier figure for my WWII.

I picked up the one with the Afrika Korp sprue on the basis that I have no use for men in shorts. On reflection I don't really have a good use for them either. They will be available at Ayton. If anyone has any spare turban heads from the Imperial sprue I wouldn't mind carrying them away for conversion purposes.
