Correct. At all costs, resist the urge to try and wash the gunk off with H20. I've also found the gunk to be much worse with enamels than with acrylics.

Placing the tip (just the tip) in the strippers garter or thong is always a good way to go.

Iso seems to sometimes leave staining on plastics so this is the best post I lifted from the discussion:

"B&Qs own paint stripper will work on anything, safe on plastics, essentially it's the same stuff as Biostrip at 1/3rd the price..."

B&Qs own brand goes under the branding 'Diall' I think. As always though when trying out anything new test it on something disposable.

If you have tap and go, you don't need to swipe.

If you are going to slip coins in there, warm them first.
