Are you going for Merit trees and Triang rubber buildings or do you something else in mind.

The shade of Green does look good. I might have to pick up some testers and redo my figure bases.

Nah! Rubber buildings and Merit trees is too old school for me. I suspect Charles Grant's balsa wood houses will do me. Not sure about trees ........ sponge perhaps.

Thanks, EB. I have the 6' x 4' board from the wargames club I started at school, back in 1975. It has been "bowling green" (Dulux or Crown, can't recall) since it was made, over 45 years ago, and I think it's time for a makeover......

Sponge Trees are so old that they are pre old school.

The airfix thatched cottage always made an appearance, bet you didn't know that Stalingrad was built from thatched cottages, country inns and un thatched thatched cottages.
