Sounds a splendid idea, I'm definitely up for this.
I know when to go out
I know when to stay in
Get things done

I was thinking of putting on a DBN napoleonic or C19th Horror on the streets of venice.........but your game sounds too good to miss so put me down for a place (any games that include thugees are always worth playing!)goat major wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 9:16 am So I have a proposal and will work up more detail on it if theres enough interest:
In the unlikely event there is a crazy mad interest in playing either of the games i've thought of doing I'll stand down for someone else to have a go.
[EDIT: although as yours sounds like a half day game there may be room for something else too! ]

I'd like to play the 18C full-on game on the Sunday, and Goat Major's game (which sounds tailor-made for my Compagnie des Ingenieurs Archaeologiques, aka Lauzun's Legion) and whatever on the Saturday.
Any advice on when I should book a room at the inn (and which one - inn, that is)?

Brendan,
The local hotel is East Ayton Lodge, and I should book asap if I were you. If they have a wedding that weekend the rooms will go very quickly.
Good to know you'll be there.
Paul,
Do you want us to list your games?

Pencil me in for some Goaty Tricorn Dungeon Delving please?
Re: Ayton 2020 - The Official Planning Thread
I suspect Alex will be putting on a DBN game (and I was just thinking of it as a marketing ploy ) However, I would like to do the C19th Venitian Horror game, and it is better suited to a half day too, so, yes, to see if anyone is interesed it might be good to list it, thanks.
(I do realise that it's a bit 'niche' though.)
The game itself would cater for anything from 2-6 players each with a handful of late C19th goodies or baddies. Fighting for survival on the streets and canals of a place very much like Venice!
Re: Ayton 2020 - The Official Planning Thread
I’d like to play GM’s morning game and Paul’s afternoon Horror Game please!
Re: Ayton 2020 - The Official Planning Thread
Thinking about it if people would rather use C18th figures for the horror that would work fine too.
Re: Ayton 2020 - The Official Planning Thread
I have a lot of Gothic Horror to contribute if need be
