The freebie figure, Karl Marx with pistol, from Partizan on Sunday (the one just gone Peeler) would probably fit in well.

Yes it would suit very well :) If anyone has one and no use for it drop me a line.
Since starting this I have realised that this is the project that I have been collecting figures for for twenty+ years without realising it!

EBs buildings will probably remain flat packed until he sells them to CB for three eggs and a funny handshake.
Jamie has made a cracking start to his though.
I decided to scratch build the platforms as the ones made by TTCombat are a bit too small for my taste and suffer from the MDF 'visible tab' problem.
