OK, OK. You shamed me into checking train times and fares. It's not too far or expensive.......but it raised two rather important points.......
Firstly, the weekend is the 16/17 rather than 15/16. For goodness sake get that changed before Peeler or Norm commit.
Secondly, the weekend of 15 - 17 is DissCon.

Thinking back........many, many years ago, was Warfare held in the Hexagon? If so, I've been twice. Once to the Hexagon, once to a rather larger hall.

It was what we now call 'Colours' that used to be at the Hexagon. Back then it was originally called 'Armageddon'. I first went to that in 1983 !!!!
It changed it's name because it was attracting unwanted Greenpeace attention (As Reading isn't far from the 'ladies' camped at the Greenham Common US Airbase) and moved to the Racecourse due to lack of parking at the Hexagon and the constricted nature of all areas except the main hall.
'Warfare' has always been called Warfare and has always, at least for twenty years or so, been at the Rivermead Leisure centre.
