. Revolver, library, chap knows what to do.
What if one doesn't have a library or a revolver?
Is the Broom Closet with a butter knife any real substitution?
donald
Carving knife, don't want the chap to suffer unduly.

6mm ancients, shields helms and cloaks, no one really sees the rest.

I'd add faces to the "flags and bases" mantra in 28mm.

Good point. I believe Elite Miniatures look so darn good because they're all looking up. There isn't quite the same impact with figures created in the one true scale though.

Oh yes there is (photos to follow soon). Now an ethical question. Am I wrong to include dead Germans on my British WW2 bases ?

I'm as into 28mm as OTS, so I'll back you up on this.
And someone else's (not mine) work for Poltava...Dead Russians and Swedes...ethics < scenography here.

Somebody (European, I hasten to add) made up a Foundry WSS 25/28mm unit of Scandinavian grenadiers advancing, with the front rank deliberately treading on an enemy flag - from another Scandinavian country. For the life of me, I can't recall which part of the equation was Danish, and which part Swedish, but it caused one hell of a furore (on a par, for those with long enough memories, with the SS Standartenfuhrer on the front cover of a Military Modelling back in the 1970s!).
Leaving aside the inherent military improbability of a bunch of guys ignoring a piece of potential promotion-bait just lying on the floor waiting to be picked up, I've often considered doing the same with a unit of British grenadiers treading on a Betsy Ross anachronism, but never been brave enough.....
