Ah yes, at certain times of the year on the farm, it was get the calf to meet the bandsaw, make the sausages, bottle the tomatoes, ferment the wine, make the ricotta, distill the grappa, etc... pretty much the only things bought were pasta and toilet paper.

It’s all looking rather good and a lot more organised than I am. Where do you keep the aeroplane now that you don’t have a hangar ?

That sounds like a great life. Shoot some cinghiale, paint a bit, and add some sort of sexy farm girl gone bad, (not all at the same time) and it'd be damn near utopia.
