I could envisage re-enactors going wild in Royston Vasey? FFoL would cope.

Yes. Frank Muir in 1998, Dennis Norden in 2018.
Muir and Norden actually wrote the "Infamy, infamy!" line that Ken Williams uses in "Carry On Cleo" for "Take It From Here" back in the 1950s.

Well spotted in the murk, he is a little different - I’d actually pegged him as the little drummer boy!
