I think Toyota must rub their hands with glee every time a war in a third world country breaks out! A Hi Lux and two LCs, all we need is a Celica fitted with a recoilless Rifle!

Their mates invited me to be guest of honour at a stoning. If they'd been successful it would have been all over.

Gents, a word on game flow.
After a chat with Tim H. We may go for quick turn based movement by phases. So each phase all 5 players throw a d6 with highest scores activating first. Those with same score activate simultaneously. Overwatch will be an option with +modifier on 'to hit' score.
Note on snipers:
Snipers hit automatically with no 'to hit' rolls and are always considered on 'overwatch' unless moving. So they are worth having, they are also less easy to hit as they are considered to be making best use of cover unless in the open/moving.
Full rules will be emailed out soon. If you pm me your emails I'll get on it. Don't expect anything flash or complicated! The rules will be simple but full of potential!! There will be a card system within each phase to cause your commanders problems and direct objectives!
Tim.

Turns based on a card draw would work well too and could be mixed with events or non event cards. To aoid too many events you could have a seperate deck of event and non event cards from which a couple of random cards were taken and inserted into the initiative cards each turn?
Non events could add flavour but no effect on the game whatsoever. Such as: "General Phillipe N’Dahwehlahweh, was feeling good today, his third wife had that morning presented him with a silk cravat the colour of the sky after the rains had gone. It made him feel......like an Emperor."
No problems with getting two players rolling the same either.
Time to go and paint my army of snipers.

The General's wives have their limbs amputated and replaced with vacuum parts.
If anyone has any event suggestions please send them along to me via pm or email at:

I'm going to go for the Saladin just for a laugh. May try for the Mk1 Ferrets as well.

Didn't get that one but I did get the Saladin & 2 Mk1 Ferrets for £12,75.

Good spot! I got to the party too late
Mk1 Ferrets make good ad hoc troop carriers for one stick/section of infantry. The Rhodesians used the Mk IVs as low rent transport for 'tank' riders.
