Andy has reminded me that the veggie option in the chippy was pretty dire last year, and worse for vegans (not that anyone cares about vegans). Nevertheless, if Andy can't sort out something vaguely appetising on the Saturday I will join forces with him in a small but perfectly formed breakaway sub group.....and possibly eat at the Denison or the hotel or the petrol station.

That would be a shame, the social aspect at Ayton is what makes it special. I'm presuming the fish restaurant isn't a 'nailed on' venue for saturady? It would be nice to go somewhere that catered for everyone
