You can always take the Tea Break Card out. Which limits the possibility of not getting several moves in a row.

You could, but then it wouldn’t be Lardy!

Tea Break card does allow units that haven’t been in action that turn to use their two action dice to shoot, spot or (slightly) adjust position. It only stops the Big Men influencing the units actions and stops full moves.

You could alter it by allowing full moves. Possibly calling it a ‘Panic!’ Card and allowing all units that haven’t done anything to do er....anything. Add to the fun by making their action random? Roll a d6 for each unit:

1. Stand and dither.
2. Wazzat? Stand and spot any terrain piece more than 12 inches away.
3. Get down chaps. Adjust position to seek cover within 4 inches.
4. Hurrah! Move 2 d6 forward towards nearest enemy.
5. Move
6. Fire! If no enemy in sight, fire on random terrain piece chosen by die roll.

Jeremy, where are the WW1 CoC Rules? I’d been looking for them.

LT, I think they’re in one of the Specials? I’m not 100% sure. Just heard talk of them on the Lardy forums

the main problem to address in multi player games is reducing the standing around time. Even if every unit gets a go it can still mean a lot of hanging around before you do not much. Perhaps splitting the table into sectors with smaller numbers of players could help

I didn't understand why they developed a "full blown" WW1 CoC, when TTM&TB was pretty much CoC Mk0.1 anyway. Can anyone explain?

Baron, completely different play mechanism. Mud and Blood was based in SP1 game mechanisms, Rich completely rewrote it for CoC. Some of the guys preferred this mechanism so converted it, it’s not really an official Lardy rule set

So TTM&TB is now obsolete and only used by "vets" who have nothing better - a bit like the Lewis gun?
