Day 6 - Went the Day well. A slighlty different type of war film. It tells the story of the small village of Bramley End which is invaded by a bunch of Germans dressed as British Soldiers.

I never understood why, in that film, the matronly type who owns the "big house" where the children are staying, picks up the grenade that has rolled into a room, and runs into the hallway with it (and thus dies), instead of just lobbing it back out of the door. Unnecessary.

Doesn’t matter - the explosion will still take place where intended, as proved in ‘Where Eagles Dare’.
