Interested to hear how you get on, if I wasn’t in a ‘sell not buy’ scenario I can see that being an impulse purchase.
Nah! It's all part of a rational wargmer's lead strategy. Purps has thrown his Kanban to the winds, but that doesn't make him a lead slut.

Are you sure, this is purps, so slut does seem to be appropriate somewhere in his description.....

Purps will tell you his Freddy costume (with matching fur trimmed tiny shorts) puts him in the ‘high class’ category

If we built a modern day Ayton in 28mm and each found figures for ourselves it would make a great walking dead game. I'd love to see how careful people were if the figures were them rather than just some fictional survivor :)

The 1930’s Ayton under construction would probably pass for 1970’s Ayton with little change and there’s some great ‘70’s style figures in the Crooked Dice shop so that could be a possibility. Kipper ties and flares are not optional.

I don't recall Freddy Flintoff ever wearing those. Must have been an off-duty moment.....

I got their 'Sir Benton Toad' figure to represent me if needed at the next Ayton....however in hindsight their version of Blofeld might be more anatomically correct!

This is a great idea!
The actual Ayton buildings I’m building should work well for it.

Nah, my Konbon is grand. I’ve painted virtually everything I have.
I just have let the basing go a bit to long and now I’ve built up a depressing pile...

I just picked up a Warlord BA6 to accompany my soviet naval troops. I won't be using it at Ayton but I may get some games going at the club. I think it would be overpowered for what we plan at Ayton. The 45mm gun would outclass just about everything else.
