It’s either going to be FJ (a long held dream) or Blitzkrieg Jerry’s. I have the Brits already. Cheese eating surrender monkeys have never appealed to me Post 1815 and neither do any of the other continental German doormats, I mean continental WW2 nations.
Oi, we cheese eating surrender moneys only did it in Singapore....

Today at Colours:-
- book from Helion & Co on the storming of Stony Point, 1779
- a complete set of Charlie Foxtrot pantile buildings, walls, and large gates
- some command sabot bases (infantry and cavalry) from the same
- Games of War pantiled walls and small gates
- 1:600 H&R (ex-Skytrex) Flower Class corvette and Captain Class frigate
- 1:600 Tumbling Dice air-sea rescue vessels package
- sample bases with etched bow-wave and stern wake from Warbases
- the first four volumes of "Coastal Craft History" covering Vosper, BPB and Fairmile MTBs, MGBs and other launches
- 6-point all-female SAGA Irish warband from Bad Squiddo (their "Shieldmaiden" kickstarter)
(also purchased one mounted warlord (warlady?), two champions, banner-bearer(ess) and hound pack walker(ess))

And arrived home to find my TFL 1940 Handbook had arrived. Now, the serious purchasing starts......

That’s 4 maybe 5 new periods right there. Respect!

All existing periods, as I already have SP2 Napoleonic/AWI, and SAGA2 forces - just providing them with more scenery and opponents. Except for the 1940 stuff which is definitely new for me (well, first time since the wargames club at school, 40 years ago). Oh, and the Coastal Patrol buys - though I already had rules for it. So one-and-a-half new periods.

In fairness, I really only buy stuff twice a year (the other occasion used to be Salute, now it's Partizan I - a) because it's a better show, b) because I have a car with me), so they tend to be big purchases. Also I do a lot of bartering - research for products - so actual cash rarely changes hands.

But you ex-taxmen didn't hear that from me......orright?

Bribery and corruption in the wargaming scene.

The headlines just roll off the presses.

I always pass on the forum's filth and smut and wrong doings to the relevant authorities. It amazes me that you all haven't been arrested. I suspect someone here is burying my reports - someone with connections in high places. An ex Senior Civil Servant perhaps.....

I think it’s more a case of they don’t want Prisoners in her Maj’s custody to mingle with the likes of us. It would make a mockery of their whole rehabilitation effort.
