Re: HMS Priapus' Flying Bridge
You've made a very good job of hiding the major basing problem with 6mm figures - namely the "ridge" that is cast under them by way of a base. I believe that Grizz has already referred to the "pain" of trying to file this down to a manageable size.

Highlighting on 6mm?? Very impressive!
Re: HMS Priapus' Flying Bridge
wow that is excellent, I really struggled with a 6mm Russian Napoleonic army and have given up for the moment

Thanks all. Here’s what I’m using on the bases. Really good stuff in terms of scale of the grit and it’s sculptability.

Re: HMS Priapus' Flying Bridge
Busy week, but got a bit of basing done. Decided to go with another thin layer of the Liquitex stucco and paint the grass effects. Have some 1mm static grass on the way which I may use to pick out a few details. Hoping to finish the rest of the BN over the weekend.

They are fantastic, and I am really liking your basing. I may have to copy your technique myself.

Quite lovely. The current range of 6mm are so much nicer than the H&R I used to paint up 20 years ago
