Are Warlord plastics in one piece?
Mostly. Just hat/helmet variants which need to be glued on. And musket rests
The 40 includes officers

Of course, you can play with the ratio by increasing/decreasing the pike to musket ratio as you see fit

Buy them at a show Iain and you’ll get 10% off. Also look at the Regiment deals, that will also reduce the price. I bought all my SYW Brits regiments from them and collected at Salute
Hmmmmmmm. Ta for that. Hmmmmmmmm...........thinks.

So.....a Very English Civil War in Ayton? I have 28mm, even have some of them painted. Could even arrange a Scots invasion.

ECW is made for Ayton type encounters. Raise forces from your estate and come as you are, Crown or Parliament.

I'm not wedded to ECW. Something 17thC would suit......even Glorious Revolution?

i'm not suggesting that people shouldn't do ECW - the more the merrier. Just that if it was an Ayton imagi game i doubt if i personally would want to collect ECW figures. I'd guess anything 1600-1680's would all work very well together
