Good work, Wingco.
I thought that the problem with the 2-pdr was that it didn't use an HE shell, only AP?

Re: The Wingco's Worshop
I think it was the 75mm on the MkIII AEC that made that hole.

Actually I've just measured the hole on the right side of the Marder and it appears to be 95mm HEAT. The craters are, of course, 25 pdr HE.

That's one big crater for a solid shot AP!BaronVonWreckedoften wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 2:50 pm Good work, Wingco.

No, the silly buggers just didn't make enough or issue it to tanks when it would have been useful.BaronVonWreckedoften wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 2:50 pm Good work, Wingco.

Re: The Wingco's Worshop
Well darlings, now in 2020 I present for your titilation more from our exclusive gallery.
First we have a piece entitled "Grounded Eagles" representing Luftwaffe infantry. I chose a scheme of Humbrol 157 Azure Blue for the headgear as a counterpoint to run of the mill Wehrmacht 31 Slate grey.
The next piece is named "Tank Hunters". When the hunter becomes the hunted. Jolly amusing, what ?
Champers all round ! I think one has finally cracked and gone all "artistic" dearies.

Seriously impressive, Wingco. Are these playing pieces or dioramas? I suppose both really.
