Mine is looking great if john can sort out his accoustics. Mind you, having the ref sounding like an echoey richard burton with his mouth full of golf balls does add to the atmosphere.

Cynewulf the Saxon grows tired of raiding Britannia. It is time to settle, grow crops, and watch his wife and children grow fat in this new land of plenty. But in order to do this, he must first destroy the watchtower, for Arthur will never give him a moments respite whilst it stands. Can Cynewulf grow old in peace and quiet? Or will Arthur end his dreams in bloodshed and violence?

Some pics from round 1 where the British, after a desperate fight, emerged victorious. The Saxons were repulsed before they could finish burning the watchtower. Pics not in any particular order.

The downside of this is if it’s going to go wrong, it’s going to be because technology. I’m not a fan of the Discord camera setup, but John likes it and it’s his game.

It was an interesting little game but I won’t say anything about it at the moment as Karl has sworn us to secrecy ahead of the next game.
