Good, fun night was had by all (I think). Decent grub, cold beers and good G&T’s we’re consumed in large quantities at The Fleece. We then tottered off to some pub I know not the name of, which required climbing 3 flights of closely spaced stairs with drinks in our hands. We then ascertained that contrary to common belief that Victoria didn’t have 6 fingers, though Norm reliably informed me she liked an extra one. Pub then closed and said stairs were a lot narrower on the way down.

A brilliant evening, but I'm so grateful that a rush of reality to me head took me back to the hotel early. I'm now ready for a splend day's shopping.

Despite having e-mailed them and spoken to them in advance they seemed very confused when I mentioned vegan options for breakfast but credit to them they managed a decent feed.. Most replete now...

Just saw Peeler and co meld smoothly into the queue as they came in rather than join the end. I’m sure he’s half French
