Yes, perfectly sensible. Lets not skimp on an anniversary bash.Tim Hall wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 9:47 pm I would argue for the shiny Ayton to go ahead as planned (All being well by then of course) and for 2021 to be our official 10th anniversary, which it will be given that this year was postponed. That gives all you lacy types another year to finish your massive armies etc. Rather than have it degenerate into a half hearted mish mash of the two events.

I rather think Ayton II is a separate 'thing' and we shouldn't be thinking of poaching the booking.

Perhaps you can all agree on how many figures a base by then
You can never have too much of something you never needed to start with

And each base must have its own box, painted in Union Blue.

We should keep Ayton II for shiny toy soldiers. Having said that, anyone without such toys who can find a bed nearby is welcome to come along. I'm sure that we can find you a brigade to command.

Sounds like 25mm wellingtonics at our club. Nobody brings toys along. Robert has enough of everything to break tables and my Spanish and Prussians fill the gaps in his armies.
I remember dad running a peninsular campaign in which he had an entire brigade of scots greys.

I agree. Keep Ayton 2 for Shiney, however lets keep an open mind for the latter half of the year - it would be a shame not to do it this year.
