Definitely a touch up required as I seem to have splashed all over my pilum and tunic.

I reckon they look great. And once the shields are attached you won't see much of them when ranked up anyway! I do like the shade effect on the off white tunics.

Finally finished, way too many interruptions on this task. Intended as a freshly raised legion, so no chance to get their shields painted yet:

There's enough there to do the Roman civil wars in Infamy, plus provide ample axe fodder for the Germans. Some skirmishers and mounted troops to do, but they're nearly finished.
