You are all a bunch of bastards.
Goat, would a multi speed Dremel with angled press and a mini vice. I want to have two =5mm X 4mm magnets in a sort of \ / form so that they are art rightangles to the CORESEC balls.
What are people buying?

oh you'd have to ask Lord Dremel of Essex about that i think - its beyond my expertise for sure.
Are these heavy models ? I'd have imagined that one magnet flat onto the ball would give you enough purchase ?

Two stop it from spinning like a top.
Re: What are people buying?
I have no experience of drilling into resin. But I'm always happy to crap-on about theory........
When I first read your post I thought 'that could be a disaster without a press and proper vice to hold the work', so I think we're on the same track there. You absolutely must avoid a wobbling bit(!) and vibration. Also, the press will give you more control over the force required to cut into the material, and allow a sort of 'dabbing' action, which will help clear the waste material.
I'm in two minds about speed. I think I would go for a fast speed for the pilot hole and slow down with progressively larger bits until you get to the size of hole you want. I definitely wouldn't try to do the job with one bit and in one hit.
There you go.......complete bollox.

Re: What are people buying?
Cannelling my inner EB, I see half a dozen or so dremels on offer, the 3000 looks like the right stuff, but is there a preference in the open waste of the Essex tundra?
Re: What are people buying?
I’ve got the old 300 series, must of had it for 6 or 7 years now. Quite happy with it. But then I’m no Come de Dremel, Viscount of Essex....
Probably can’t get them any more
