My force will look like NWF British and Boers, they aren't any such thing but Ptolemy Orpington DSO, the Hero of Kushtibad, has a truly fine moustache.

I agree. I'm supposed to have done that with Tim by now, but I've had such a sh*t year health-wise that wargaming has not really been foremost in my thoughts.

Although something asymmetric with lots of Colonial powers against vast hordes of natives is what we're envisaging - I think.
I wish you'd said big guy, 'cause I would have have got off my behind and made a start. As it is I've been lollygagging around thinking "Where has Gary got to?" But I heartily concur with your last two lines, although some treachery might be fun. An international coalition, on an expedition to rescue a missing group of Archaeologists on a dig at a sacred site somewhere up the Wazoo river perhaps.

No, he’ll wait until you’re at the highlighting stage before he does that.

I’ve got quite a lot on my plate this year, so think I will only be bringing my Zulus. Not sure I’ll have the time to paint some European forces as well. I’ll need to paint up some more Zulus, as it is as I only have 72 and need 128. I’ll also build my Zulu kraal and maybe do some termite mounds and aloes. I’ll also bring an ossewa in case anyone needs it.
