Can’t eat on an empty stomach I’m afraid. The Doc says it’s bad for me.

I have always loved the film Zulu, I went to see it with my Dad at the Gants Hill Odeon for the first time. I think we went back a couple of times that week. We never missed it when it came up on the TV in later years, and a while back my dear Mrs bought me the special edition DVD. Even with the many anachronisms and errors no other film captured the British Imperial spirit so well. It has inspired my hobby years in every way. Thanks Gary for putting this on. I shall have a special showing for Peeler and me the night before, to get in the mood. My favourite watching of the film was when we sat and watched it in a small primary school in Notting Dale, before going out to Police the Notting Hill carnival, and I watched it with PC 532G Barry Hook, a descendant of Henry. When we patrolled in the Transit riot buses, much of the film's soundtrack would be broadcast over the van's PA system. those were different times.

Just collected the Rorke's Drift buildings so we are all systems go. Who's up for food and beer Friday and/or Saturday night? Choice in Diss is limited - curry, Chinese, pub, pie and mash (I'll have to check if it's open in the evening) or a good Turkish restaurant
Why us? Cos we're 'ere lad, nobody else.

I am sure that Peeler and I will be up for a meal and a drink on Saturday. All options sound good to me.

Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

I'm in town on Friday and Saturday nights. Assuming I was the only one staying that night, my ntention was to hit the town on my own on Friday. Happy to join in though.
Saturday I'll just follow the crowd.

Do you want to give them a hint as to which town this might be?
