I agree with Paul, it's the ability to get the rare or obscure aircraft that appeals. I'll not be buying something like a squadron of Spifires in anything other than metal.
Handling these two is strange as they are so light. But it does mean I can use a much smaller magnet.

Just received my cigar box desert mat. Pretty happy with this. Primarily for Rommel or perhaps To The Strongest I got a 4”grid superimposed which hardly detracts from the eyes at all. The material is a sort of lightweight felt and drapes very nicely over shaped hill pieces but would be less good over books as the gaps would droop with figures placed on it

A calendar for Peeler. Managed to find one with an electric shock attachment.

Well, if we all chipped in, we could get three smart phones: calendar apps for Norm and Peeler and a GPS app for EB.
