I might end up being labelled as a FLR too :D
The knock on from a covid affected Christmas and New Year means i'm too uncertain about whether the I can attend this year :( :( to risk booking the Lodge.
When I do know for sure, the Lodge will probably already be fully booked :fp:
2022 already sucks.....roll on Framlingham in the autumn.
Well, I managed to get a booking the other day, but there are now only two rooms left for that weekend. But I understand your uncertainty. I will however, be mortally offended if you don't come to Fram, so no pressure eh?
I already lost my deposit from the lodge for November so don't want to risk it again :( If things pan out favourably i'll try one of my old hotels down there if the lodge is not available.
Fram is nailed on...all paid for. :)

Paul I book my room there through booking.com. They have rooms at the Lodge with free cancellation and no deposit

Aside from the force composition have we got any info about terrain requirements? I'd hat to turn up with a Spanish village only to find that we're in Flanders or the Rhineland.

You're not packing already are you, Buff? Keen, very keen. That's got to be worth a bonus D6 (remind me on the Ayton Friday and I'll sort something out).

EB is bringing his upcycled army blankets as the base, on top of which we've got template boards for woods and (small) BUAs. The idea will be that only those features on a template board actually count as such, and everything else is effectively pretty scatter for appearance, but can be shifted a little if required or otherwise ignored for game purposes.

We're going for a 'European' look, rather then Peninsular/Med.

We'll need some more trees and general buildings/rural scenics like fields, etc, so any nice stuff people want to bring along will be very welcome.

The final effect is to look something like this:

Even private medical treatment has waiting lists these days. On the plus side this means that the Memsahib's hip replacement won't happen until later in May so our week in Brompton is secure.

I thought Jan was hip enough, but an upgrade is always good.
