What are people buying?
Re: What are people buying?
GM, I do like that. I had a good look at one at one of the display games yesterday (not Peeler’s display game - for obvious reasons) and I am committed to getting one.

Funnily enough I just made a similar comment on the Battleground thread. I think with the right sort of drop-on terrain pieces they do look rather good.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

Had a look for them this morning on the Northstar site and it looks like they don’t stock them anymore?

They order in batches. This comment is on their website not sure why they aren’t taking advance orders though as they did for mine..

Thanks Simon. They’d been removed from the right hand side menu completely so thought they may not be stocked anymore.

The mat looks great GM, very nice.
Re: What are people buying?
That’s a lovely looking mat. You can still make book and stuff hills underneath if you use an underlay or something. I think that’s what LT does. He is the sort.

I resemble that remark.
Offcuts of carpet underlay draped over books do work, they smooth out the sudden edges and give a bit more height. Often free from round the back of Carpet Warehouse.
