Nice stuff. TO&E question: was it normal for "special" tanks like the Wirbelwind to serve within a conventional tank troop? I gather they were found to be very useful against ground targets, too.

Those are really rather nice. Must resist, as I already have about a Division's worth of British/Commonwealth stashed away in Oz. And it would just be silly to do it all again.. wouldn't it?

Wirbelwinds were actually quite rare. My take on it is that the CO ( II 01) would order his limited Flak assets to defend his HQ (ie: himself).
