Re: Infamy, infamy
Bill is a bit humour challenged and he seems to have something against Lardies.
Re: Infamy, infamy
Rich called him out for being the dickhead that he is a year or so back. It's Bill's usual petulant behaviour that occurs when someone crosses him. He's done just the same with other businesses that don't toe the TMP line.

Re: Infamy, infamy
ow, can an infamy fanboy tell me how it is different from Dux?
Re: Infamy, infamy
Because it was viewed as advertising according to Rich. So you can’t ask what figures to use for a rule set because now you are advertising said rule set
Re: Infamy, infamy
Very, very different. Dux has no Tiffin card, no ambush or deployment points, no signa cards, no rally points, no formal command structure, no ‘all in’ in combat, units are a different size and many other different features. Dux must be about 10 years old now and reflects that

Re: Infamy, infamy
I've not played either, but have formed the impression that Dux is more campaign-oriented, whereas "Aye-Aye" is focussed more on the actual fisticuffs - is that correct? Also, they are distinct periods and the melee/combat, and morale/training rules reflect a specific time frame - again, correct or not?

Re: Infamy, infamy
Baron, the heart of Infamy! Is the campaign, however it is an entirely different type of campaign to Dux. The campaign ends when you have your procession in Rome for defeating the tribes, or you are assassinated by Rome because of your infamy. The same for the Barbarians.
We don’t know if different time periods fight differently as we don’t have any yet. The Romans all have similar drill access, merely different force make up
