Great question. I wonder what the correct answer is.

That may be the case, but Newcastle is much, much, norther.

We have a Newcastle just north of Sydney. Used to be a welfare centre, but gentrification okis driving up rates and driving the welfare recipients out.

I was about to object that om from the North and I hadn't said anything, til I checked and realised that I had. So I won't say anything about this comment.
