Ok trawled around and found great options for a small (yeah, right) 19thC imaginations.
So far the main thing I am missing is crimean war british guards and rha in busby. But I can get crimean light cav so adaptions to napoleonic RHA are possible.
Probably what I need right now, a small, simple and silly project.

Have a look here, might be a suitable Napoleonic alternative?

Like the napoleonic highlanders, nice options there, and rather like the 1812 figures in top hats. At this rate I shall being the Peking legation in my diversity!

Went to buy a new kitchen peddle bin from The Range in York this evening and realized they had a big arts and craft section. Got way too excited to find they had a lovely green backing board for 60p a sheet. All now cut into 6 x 2.5 and 6 x 3.5 inch bases.
