There were 100 maps in the original Warfare in the Age of Reason rules and a further 100 in the Battles from the Age of Reason supplement. It is a very clever and simple system.

Campaign Turn 5:

Having recovered from his defeat at Münchengrätz, King Frederick wastes no time in attacking once again, although this time he is joined by Bevern's corps from Liebenau. However, as they converge on Münchengrätz, it is clear from hussar reports that Königsegg and his army have already slipped away to Jung-Bunzlau.

In the west, the situation remains unchanged.

In the east however, the various Prussian corps manoeuvre in response to the Austrian advance on Jaromirz. However, that advance has proven to be short-lived, as the Austrians have withdrawn again to Königgrätz...

It looks like we're finally starting to get somewhere...

On Turn 6, Daun has arrived at Königgrätz, roughly doubling the number of Austrian troops at the city and also bringing Nostitz's Saxon cavalry corps. Leaving part of the force to garrison the city, Daun marches out to Horzitz, in an attempt to catch one of the Prussian corps. However, the Prussians have already departed and are now concentrating under Schwerin's command at Stakstadt, to guard their lines of supply. The Prussians are now starting to regret their early decision to not march decisively to engage and destroy one of the main Austrian armies...

Frederick meanwhile, having united his army with that of Bevern, has marched south in pursuit of Königsegg. However, the wily Austrian is not to be found at Jung-Bunzlau, so Frederick marches on to Benatek. Königsegg meanwhile, has side-stepped the Prussian king; marching to Sobotka and then Gitschin, in an attempt to unify his army with Daun.

Schwerin now has little choice but to stand his ground and guard his line of communication back to Silesia, so we'll probably see a large battle at Starkstadt soon, but will Daun bring his full weight to bear?

Will Königsegg join Daun? Or will he march back to Münchengrätz to cut Frederick's tenuous line of communication?

Will Frederick march decisivly, in concert with Henry, to capture Prague and engage Lorraine's main army? Or will he continue to fanny about, chasing Königsegg...?

Well I thought we had a battle at Welwarn, but then remembered that the Austrian generals get a +1 to their initiative from Turn 7 onward. Browne also managed to temporarily wrest control from the idiot Lorraine and successfully retreated to Prague just before getting spit-roasted between Fred and Henry.

Konigsegg sneaked back into Munchengratz to cut Fred's LoC, but Fred's now able to use the LoC from Welwarn to Dresden. Instead of smacking Schwerin, Daun is also now heading west...
