TOW, Rhodeleland must have swapped a plane load of baccy for em. Shouldn't one of each of your sticks have a heavy barrel FN capable of cyclic fire?
Just an Early '80s 'not' Rhodesia (Obviously real Rhodesia had gone by then).
FN FALS, Sterling SMGs and GPMGs
Painting the Camo is er......challenging!

No, they were supplied as part of the 'Arms for Ostriches' deal Rhodeleland had with Franconia. In return the 'Francs' were supplied with several thousand breeding pairs of the birds to enable them to furnish their relentless obsession with feather Boas.
The TOW were needed as the communist Northern Rhodeleland (known since 1959 as 'The Peoples Republic of Gange) had recently taken delivery of twelve T54s.

T54s, just put some 106mm RCL on a landy!

Butlers Printed Models do a nice range, £10 for a 28mm Landrover.

Yes I saw those
I was contemplating some T54s to combat Hotels tanks, but thought better of starting an arms race
The Landies do look like they might need a lot of cleaning up. Warbases do some reasonable MDF ones and Crooked dice a really nice SWB Series Hard top Land Rover

Hurray, I've just finished my first 'stick' of 4 figures.
Which prompts the question, what rules are we using?
A Laserblade variant or something more exotic like Force on Force?

I'd suggest a Laserblade variant.

I am
not using tanks, I cannot state this categorically enough. What I said was that I had some suitable tanks and AFV's and I was doing them up as either scenery or for any local Military, but their deployment is at the behest of Whiskey who is sorting the scenarios. I can live with a Laserblade variant or the version of the Yorkshire Coast rules we used in Zumba last year.

While we're talking about what to use I'd welcome peoples opinions on my unit composition.
So far I've got 16 infantry. Is that going to be enough?
In that lot I've got 1 GPMG. 1 Carl Gustav team, a 51mm light mortar and a sniper. Is that lot too much?
So far the only vehicle is a Panhard VBL with a 20mm autocannon. I'll probably add some LWB rovers.

Excellent, no tanks
I think i'll only have about 24 Infantry plus transport (Choppers or Softskins). I might get a Ferret to escort the Landies but no 'armour' heavier than that.
So no arms race.
I've got some suitable African buildings too.
