Funny enough I got my RF reloaded out the other day. I've refurbished my 20mm stuff and have been paining figures that have been laying around decades. I base infantry on 40mm squares, 3 to a base. Three bases being a unit. RF is basing agnostic but the authors base them in ones and twos.

I have been tinkering with 1 hour wargames rules but now I think I want something a bit more involved. I have every RF rule book and supplement there is I think. Havent tried BKC but tempted to have a look.

Colin will be at Vapnartak as usual with his RF stand upstairs near the toilets.

There was (and is) one
Not surprised, there seemed to be a club for everything else. I'll take your word on the proto-pollies and some comedians. I like Michallef but I don't find the Chasers funny- they just strike me as screech and swear merchants.

With all this discussion of RF/R and BKC I'm nearly tempted to do some more work on me own WWII stuff.
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

Certainly nothing wrong with BKC - it's provided us with many good games. However, as I indicated in my OP, as we need to update & buy rule books, it would not hurt to look at something else. I'll order two of the RFR books tomorrow.

I keep getting FB adverts for the new deagostini tank collection. If anyone is doing 20mm it might be worth a look? At least the introductory offer but they weren't tanks I would use in the first wave. Might wait til some of them come up in charity shops.

It’s no’ aw that hard once ye get the hang o’ it tho. Av goat mair problems unnerstonin some English accents than maist other accents gawn.

According to Gene Kelly, it's something to do with what Moses supposes (there are roses involved as well, I believe).
