Are you suggesting that Norm's first CoC wasn't hard enough?

This was a benefit of “losing” the patrol phase - my markers were fixed in a relatively modest area.
When I deployed, everything was in handy shouting range of Captaine LeFrog.
My Senegalese had a couple of points of shock but I decided I’d rather use the activation to shoot les Allemands than soothe the colonials.

If you’re using Senegalese you definitely want the 1940 handbook. It offers more detailed breakdowns of the army lists than the basic rules and the French Colonials are one of the big items of interest. Plus - one British Support Option is now a drinks cabinet :

More CoC, that’s what you need.
Don’t stop at one.
Get as much as you can

We have the 1940 supplement - very extensive it is, too.
The chap who’s keen on CoC has gone big into it and got all the CoC related material he can get his hands on.
I was using a section of Senegalese to bulk up my regular infantry force from their modest Bolt Action proportions.
