Prepping is the worst part. Sharp knife, tiny rat file, and much patience.

Is a ‘rat file’ a file that snitches on all the other files? If so, shouldn’t it be a ‘dirty rat file’ instead of a ‘tiny rat file’?

After you've castrated a few tiny troops you will understand that you either have a tiny rat file or all your troops will have a Kanban dangling between their legs.

I haven't noticed much prep work needed for the Baccus stuff, at least so far.

I found them much superior to Adler regarding flash. Prep is always agony for me because I file the bases wafer thin.

Ordered the rest of my Prussians. Turns out I was exaggerating my figure needs at 12,000. To do the Prussian right flank at Zorndorf at my figure ratio will only require 1,920 foot, 540 mounted, and 32 cannon. Seems so much more achievable now!

Man, how much do I love to double post in my own thread.

So here's a typical Prussian company, as I'm doing It anyway, with space behind for NCOs and so forth. Four of these make a BN. My question to those inclined to this diminutive scale is about flocking and finishing the base. Paint on the greenery or use actual flock?

I paint the base green, but if you go flocking, keep it pale and short.

I’d go for paint, a lot more manageable than flock in that scale.

They look bloomin’ marvellous, good luck with the other 1,884!
I get lockdown, but I get up again.
