I haven't bought any metal Perrys for three or four years but when I did they had little or no 'flash'. What drove me mad though was the huge number of vent lines they put in the moulds. I presume that this is down to making sure the detail casts ok, but it is always a real chore removing the metal that has gone into the vents and you invariably miss some even at the undercoating stage

Was it because you didn't have any money left afterwards? I bought one of the twins a bacon roll and had a pasty and chips for my own lunch - almost £11!!!

I readily concede that TFL rules and Perry figs are popular, I was rather refering to the sort of uncritical fanboy fawning from the masses out there. TFL rules just don't appeal to me much and while I have many, many figures by the Perrys I'm still irritated by vent runs, flash and poorly defined detail on weapons for example.

I think calling people uncritical fawning fanboys is both harsh and derogatory purely because they like a particular product and you don’t. People like different things and should not attract derogatory labels purely because they think differently to you. It’s really not what the hobby is about - broad church remember?

A veryt broad church, we allow all kinds of fawning fanboys in.
