Infamy, infamy
Re: Infamy, infamy
There’s around 3 or 4 forces for each VB, each one quite different from the others. For Celts, can’t go wrong buying around 20 armoured foot, 30 or 40 standard foot, 12 cavalry and 6 slingers. That will give you slightly larger than core forces.

You can field whatever lists you like. I just like those.FreddBloggs wrote: ↑Fri Jul 03, 2020 9:35 pm Well that is an iceni or trinovante list, what about silures or brigantes Jeremy?
Re: Infamy, infamy

So you xan do the western or northern british tribes, not just the mad chariot folks, is what I meant.
Re: Infamy, infamy
Yup. There’s a British list with no chariots

It's really frustrating that most figures are sold as packs of 8.

Think so. The others have one group of chariots from memory.

Walks away slowly, muttering about hollywood rules.
By the time of Claudius, other than east anglia, chariots were a grandfathers weapon, with the southern belgic tribes and the spine and welsh ones, and in the north they had gone, if in some regions they were ever more than ceremonial.
