Having just received some Perry Afghans to top up my force and started some prepping. The casting quality really is appalling. And in a really hard metal too which makes removing the flash even more difficult. I had been considering buying a unit of regular infantry as well but I can't see me buying any more of their figures

Tell them and they'll take them back and send you replacements (hopefully better). Remember that they don't do the casting, but can only improve if they get feedback.

I think people have been complaining for a long time and not much seems to improve... I've only ever ordered a couple of time and clean up was a pain

I take it that these were "Perry Miniatures", the casting quality across the board has been far from stellar. The Foundry ones are actually better. Mind you the plastic Afghans are pretty good. There are also some nice Afghans to be had from Empress.

Yep, endless worms to find and remove. A shame as their sculpting is great, but clearly nothing's improved with their casting.

Being British I won't complain but I have tutted loudly.
Artizan do some nice Afghan regulars so I may get some from them
